Located in the small village of Paternopoli, one of the best regions for making the prestigious Taurasi wine, this family-owned winery is a tie between past and present. Gianni and his family focused on preserving the traditions of winemaking passed down in their family for generations that have created incredible wines. Nothing added, Giovanni's wines are an elegant interpretation of the grapes he grows.

Il Cancelliere is located in the heart of Montemarano, an area particularly well suited for the production of Taurasi wines. The winery is family run and their cellar is based in the ancient family cottage. They continue making their incredible natural red wines using the traditions from generations past designed to highlight the flavors and structure of the Irpinia Aglianico grape. All without adding anything.

Angelo produces his natural wines from some of the oldest land in the heart of Greco di Tufo country. As a third-generation winemaker, he continues the family traditions by producing wine without using any chemicals, additives, or temperature controls and works the 6.5 acres of their land by hand. The results are fantastic award-winning Greco di Tufo wines from the unique highly sulfuric soils that define the land.

Stefania and her husband, Erminio, have started a new tradition of winemaking in their family that relies on the time honored learnings of Irpinia. They grow their Aglianico grapes in Paternopoli, one of the best locations for the production of Taurasi wines. Their award winning “Fren” Taurasi is grown on vines dating back 70 years, which they harvest by hand selecting only the best grapes grown throughout the year.

The Boccella family pays painstaking attention to their vines in order to produce their amazing natural wines. Settled 600 meters above sea level, the impressive slopes of their vineyards create the perfect growing conditions for their Aglianico and Fiano grapes. Surrounded by fruit and olive trees, the flavors of the terrain infuse their wines resulting in an amazing wine experience.

A fourth generation winemaker, Enza opened her cantina just two years ago after deciding her family's grapes deserved their own label. In a short time, Enza is already producing fantastic wines from the grapes grown on her family's land and does it all without an enologist. These natural wines are distinctive in taste and color due to the exceptional care that goes into production of the wines.

Cantina Di Prisco was established in 1994 in Fontanarosa, a small town immersed in the greenery of Irpinia. Pasqualino Di Prisco is passionately dedicated to growing the best grapes to produce top-quality wines. The carefully selected vineyards are the backdrop for production that puts quality above quantity. The wines are made in the respect of the traditions of generations past while utilizing the most modern enological technologies.

Luigi Sarno produces incredible Fiano di Avellino wines on his family's land in a unique microclimate with rich volcanic soils. Luigi’s natural wines are handcrafted bringing out unique flavors and structures in his white wines you won't find in other Fianos. Luigi has been recognized as a top new winemaker for Campania and also works as the enologist for other notable wineries in Irpinia.

Started in 2003 by a small group of friends, this winery has become the flagship for natural wine in Irpinia under the leadership of  Antonio and Daniela Di Gruttola. Pioneers in the idea wine could be a pure expression of the grapes that make their wines, they champion the no filtration, no clarification, spontaneous fermentation, nothing added nothing taken away philosophy of quality winemakers. Always willing to try something new, Antonio and Daniella continue to expand the possibilities for the native grapes of Irpinia.

Nicola Nardone, or Pupo as he's affectionately known, has been working in the family's Venticano vineyards since he was 6 years old. His great grandfather founded their family winery in 1908 and Pupo is carrying on his family's traditions, blending past and present to craft some of Irpinia's best natural wines. His attention to detail and immense winemaking knowledge result in some of the region's most enjoyably unique wines.

Pasquale is a member of the Di Pietro family known for their award-winning restaurant, Antica Trattoria Di Pietro in Melito Irpino. One night, in the generations old vines of his family, he decided it was time to turn his passion into something more. After years perfecting his wine, he's finally bottling his red wine blend. His Aglianico is like the shy younger brother of the bold and brash Irpinia Agilianicos the world knows and displays the signature characteristics of an incredible natural wine.

Fabio's family once served as the noble family for Castelvetere sul Calore and have lived on their land since the 1600s. Today, Fabio is carrying on the rich family traditions of his family, creating natural wines and liquors with the help of his parents and grandparents. The family's feudal home serves as winery and tasting room, boasting incredible views of Irpinia and Barbera vines that date back more than 300 years. Fabio's attention to detail and willingness to experiment results in a terrific blend of past and present in your wine glass.

This small family winery was founded by the Lonardo family, residents of Taurasi since the 18th Century. They've been making wine for generations, but it started their own label in 1998. The winery is exclusively made up of family members who do everything from the working in the vineyards to the bottling of their wines. They’re known to experiment with winemaking and grape growing techniques, while maintaining the utmost respect for winemaking traditions.

Raffaele Troisi is continuing the centuries of winemaking traditions that have existed in his family for generations. Raffaele’s grandfather passed away young, at which point his grandmother took over all things grapes and vineyard, becoming a local legend of winemaking knowledge and expertise. They produced their first bottle of wine under an official label in 1984, and the rest is history.

At 23 years old, Eva Roberto had the idea that a sparkling wine from the native grapes of Irpinia could rival any other sparkling wine from around the world. Today, she and her family are crafting some of the best sparkling wines - blending generations of winemaking history and respect for the land to produce wines that represent not just the past, but the future of Irpinia.

Brother and Sister, Francesco and Chiara Romano along with their parents founded their winery in 2006 creating the only winery in San Mango sul Calore, a town included in the DOCG Taurasi area. The family is dedicated to growing only the highest quality grapes to produce wines that are the best representation of Irpinian traditions.
